NI House Prices on the Increase!

House prices in Northern Ireland grew at six times the UK average in July, according to official figures.

The average price rose by 3.5 per cent to £137,000, according to the report released jointly by the Office for National Statistics (ONS), Land Registry and other bodies.

That’s higher than the UK average growth of 0.7 per cent and also ahead of England (0.3 per cent) and Scotland (1.4 per cent). Only in Wales did prices accelerate faster (4.2 per cent).

Low interest rates, employment growth, affordable housing and the ability to borrow with small or no deposit have all been supportive to the housing market.
